Need some boosts this week to keep you motivated for the New Year? Here are another 5 positive Blussh Boosters that Emily loves and recommends to get you through!
I'm not going to lie... I feel FABULOUS when I wear a new pair of undies for the first time. Whether it's a new bra or knickers, there's something amazing in wearing new garments... no one can see! The more outrageous the pattern, the better. Try it and see! (For bonus points: try wearing a MATCHING new underwear set! )
It's so easy to focus on what we don't have or what we haven't done... but not so easy to be thankful for what we have now. Take a moment to write a list of 10 things you are thankful for, right now. Keep going if you can! Challenge yourself to write a list at the end of each day for a week. What does it do to your perspective?
It's similar to dancing it out... but it's singing it out! Whether you are in the car, at home or studying, take a moment and find a classic sing-a-long. Or even a mime along. It's a good way to release some emotions and of course get your groove on in a confined space!
What did you last get in the mail? Bills? Take away food brochures? Take a moment and send a friend a letter or card by snail mail! Receiving (and sending) letters seems a more personal form of communication- and your handwriting makes it even more unique. It always brings a smile to my face! :)
With who? YOU! One of the most important things I've learnt about looking after myself is making sure I make the time for me. And sometimes that means actually writing into my diary 'Read book' or 'Unwind'. Force yourself to be specific so you don't spend the time deciding what to do. Just like an appointment it's your time- so do what you love to do!
